Australia’s Biggest Mental Health Check-in was inspired by the team at Vital Conversations, based in Subiaco, Western Australia. Led by Peta Slocombe, the team is committed to helping people achieve excellent mental health.
Our aim is to promote the benefits of psychological health as the cornerstone to a satisfying and productive life.
To create global mental health action. We want to help people be proactive in tracking their mental health.
Australia’s Biggest Mental Health Check-in is a way to maintain our well-being or to improve it. It’s more than a conversation, it gives people objective and professional tools to assist them in tracking, assessing and improving their mental health. Checking in with our personal mental health should be done regularly, not just when we may be struggling. Checking in is for all of us. The earlier we check, the earlier we can make the often small changes needed to help us cope and stay strong.
We are checking in together to send a powerful message to the 1 in 2 Australians who will struggle with their mental health that they are not alone.
