It's time. Act now
for mental health.

Q. How does the Check-in work?
When you register, you'll receive an email containing a personalised link to complete your Check-in survey, and details for how to access your report.

Once you've got your Medibio-ID pack, follow the instructions to set up and complete your sleep scans. We ask that you complete at least one ~24 hour scan (noon to noon is perfect), but this is optional*.

We aim to review survey reports and scans and make them available to you in your User Portal (https://app.medibio.com.au), within 24 hours.

*To keep costs low so we can offer this to as many Australians as possible, if you choose not to complete a sleep scan, or once you've finished scanning, we would love if you could return your black sensors and white cradles to your Organisation or to us at 246 Churchill Avenue, Subiaco WA 6008.
Q. Will my results be confidential?
Absolutely. When you register you'll need to provide an email address where we can contact you. You'll receive an automatically generated password, to log in to your account where you can change your password if you wish.

Your results are protected by legal and professional codes of practice to fully protect your privacy. If you've joined as part of an organisation, your results will be included in overall de-identified reporting back to your organisation. If you have any concerns please ask for a sample organisational report to be sent to you.
Q. I haven't received anything, what now?
Please check that the email from us hasn't gone into your Spam or Junk folder. If you still can't see it, please email us at enquire@mentalhealthcheckin.com.

If you already completed your survey or scan and can't see them in your User Portal, please email us at enquire@mentalhealthcheckin.com.
Q. How long do I wear the Medibio-ID device?
We would love you to complete at least one ~24 hour scan, roughly from noon to noon. Two or three scans would be great, as the more you scan, the more information we can give you back.

Because we need a measure of heart rate before and after sleep, you will need to put the device on at least 2 hours before sleep and an hour after you wake.  You can shower in it and exercise is fine. If for some reason the scan is unsuccessful, we’d recommend you scan again before returning the device.
Q. Does it matter what order I do this, or if there is time gap between my survey and sleep scan?
Any order is fine, and the closer together you complete your survey and sleep scan, the better.
Q. What do I do if my device doesn't work?
Please refer to the Troubleshooting guide in your Medibio-ID pack, call or email support@mentalhealthcheckin.com.
Q. How long will I have to wait for my results?
Your Individual Profile Report will be available in your User Portal, usually within 24 hours of you completing your Check-in survey. However as every report is reviewed by one of our Psychologists prior to sending, this timeframe may vary slightly depending on the number of reports coming through.

The results from your sleep scan will be available on your phone within 24 hours of completing the scan. The data from each scan is analysed before being released, so again this timeframe may vary slightly.

If you haven't received your report or sleep scan results in 3 business days, please check your Spam/Junk folder, and if it is not there, drop us a line at enquire@mentalhealthcheckin.com and we'll be happy to assist.
Q. I am concerned about my results - what next?
Your report may recommend a visit to a GP or Psychologist.  If you don’t have a GP, call your local centre and ask for a doctor who works with mental health. They may suggest you book for a slightly longer consultation, and taking your report with you will help.

Your GP may refer you to a Psychologist and in some cases Medicare rebates will apply. You can also contact a Psychologist directly in your local area, or enquire as to whether your organisation has an Employee Assistance Program in place.

The team at Australia’s Biggest Mental Health Check-In are happy to help and you can email enquire@mentalhealthcheckin.com or call 08 9382 8274. If the matter is urgent or you need to speak to a counsellor now, please call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
Q. I no longer want to participate, how do I withdraw?
No problem, just email enquire@mentalhealthcheckin.com and let us know.

We work in industries that are linked to increased mental health issues and our business leaders wanted to be proactive in tackling this across the Group. For many people mental illness is hard to self-diagnose so the check-in is a valuable tool for employees to see how they are travelling in terms of their own health. The program also helped start the conversation and hopefully break down some of the stigmas that come with asking a workmate how he or she is going. From a business perspective the program and team at Vital Conversations have helped us to better understand this area and what we need to do to ensure we have a healthier workforce in the future.

At my work we are also seeing an increasing interest in mental health awareness coming from people wanting to not only care for their colleagues, but importantly their family and friends. I'm more than happy to be an ambassador and look forward to seeing more people checking their mental health.
